Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Day Shift Med Aide for Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves medication administration, daily living assistance, and other duties to ensure resident safety and well‑being.

You will assist residents with bathing, dressing, mobility, and health monitoring while maintaining cleanliness and infection control per facility standards. Training and state compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred depending on state.
• Must complete medication administration training program and state competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services including medication administration, ADL assistance, and other duties per location standards.
• Assist residents with self-administration of medications and maintain proper appearance.
• Obtain vital signs and report health status changes promptly.
• Follow OSHA/CDC guidelines to minimize infections and maintain aseptic techniques.
