Job summary

Good Samaritan provides care at 3901 S Marion Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57106. The SD Med Aide will administer medications, assist with daily living, and support residents in a compassionate, safe environment on the Day shift.

This full-time Day Shift role requires an active SD Med Aide license, completion of state training, and willingness to work every other weekend and holidays; benefits include health, dental, vision, and a robust 401(k).

Qualifications

• Assists residents with activities of daily living
• Must have SD Med Aide license and complete state training

Responsibilities

• Provides care and services such as medication administration, healthcare services, activities of daily living assistance and other duties, in a caring, safe and efficient manner.
• Assists residents with self-administration of medications.
• Assists residents with bathing, toileting, dressing, transferring, repositioning and walking.
• Obtains vital signs accurately and reports changes in health status.
• Follows OSHA/CDC guidelines and SDS for exposure control.
