Job summary

Pine Ridge Post Acute in Edmonds, WA is seeking a Resident Care Manager (RN or LPN) to lead and mentor our nursing team, delivering individualized, compassionate resident care.

You will coordinate care plans with physicians and families, supervise CNAs, assist with admissions and transfers, monitor health status, and participate in quality improvement and compliance efforts, all while promoting respect and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN or LPN license.
• At least 1 year of geriatric nursing experience, including medication administration.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily resident care with individualized, compassionate plans.
• Develop and maintain care plans with physicians, residents, families and the team.
• Coach and mentor nurses and CNAs to deliver outstanding care.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges and documentation.
• Monitor resident health status and follow up on changes.
• Participate in quality assurance, infection prevention and compliance activities.
• Investigate incidents and ensure timely reporting and follow-up.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to improve care and support facility initiatives.
• Participate in staff education, training, and leadership meetings.

Pay Range: $43-$61 per hour

What You\'ll Do

• Coordinate and oversee daily resident care to ensure each resident receives individualized, compassionate care.


• Work closely with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and maintain care plans.


• Support, coach, and mentor nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to help our team deliver outstanding care.


• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, resident care conferences, and required documentation.


• Monitor resident conditions, identify changes in health status, and ensure appropriate follow‑up.


• Participate in quality assurance, infection prevention, and compliance activities.


• Help investigate resident incidents and ensure timely reporting and follow‑up.


• Collaborate with nursing leadership to improve care, solve problems, and support facility‑wide initiatives.


• Participate in staff education, training, and leadership meetings.

What We\'re Looking For

• An active, unencumbered Washington State RN or LPN license.


• At least one year of geriatric nursing experience, including medication administration.


• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.


• A team‑oriented mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.


• A genuine passion for resident‑centered care and supporting the people who provide it.

Preferred:

At least one year of supervisory or management experience, including staff development, training, scheduling, or budgeting.

Education requirements:

• RN applicants: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).


• LPN applicants: LPN licensure.
