Job summary

Advancing Opportunities in Pennington, NJ is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide and coordinate nursing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

The LPN will perform assessments, administer medications, document health status, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal health outcomes."

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and unrestricted New Jersey LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience with IDD or related populations preferred.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed treatments and care per physician orders.
• Administer medications following MARs and regulations.
• Maintain accurate health records and ISP/Medical Reports.
• Educate and train staff on medical protocols and healthcare needs.
