Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff across apartments and common areas.

You will perform comprehensive cleaning, laundry, and supplies management with attention to resident comfort, safety, and compliance with company training standards. This on-site role requires reliable schedule adherence and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• Complete all Company specified training programs.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas and resident's apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform all laundry duties: washing/drying, folding/hanging, distributing laundered articles, changing bed linens.
• Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors and checking lint traps.
• Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community.
• Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
• Stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash.
• Report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
