Job summary

Coleman House Assisted Living Residence is seeking an RN Resident Care Director for a specialized Memory Care unit. The role includes overseeing the unit according to policies, conducting resident assessments, developing and reviewing Resident Service Plans, and managing medication for residents.

Responsibilities also cover staff training, performance reviews, staffing solutions, and on-call coordination to ensure resident needs are met and documentation is thorough and compliant.

Qualifications

• Assessing residents during Pre-Admission, Initial and ongoing evaluations.
• Developing timely reviews of Resident Service Plans.
• Managing medication administration for assisted living residents.
• Providing training to staff and evaluating employee performance.

Responsibilities

• Communication with staff, residents, and families; addressing concerns and disputes promptly per policies and regulations.
• Ensure resident needs are met and service plans reflect those needs; maintain accurate documentation.
• Staffing the unit, including hiring, reference checks, payroll notifications, and on-call scheduling.

Job description

Coleman House Assisted Living Residence is recruiting for a RN Resident Care Director. Specialized Memory Care 22 units.

Responsible for:

• operating the unit in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• perform Pre-Admission, Initial and ongoing assessments of residents
• developing timely review of Resident Service Plans
• the medication management of the assisted living residents.
• initial and ongoing training of the employees

Must be able to communication with staff, resident, family members. In addition, address concerns, disputes, complains quickly and fairly using facility policies, state regulations and other pertinent facts. provide guidance and support to residents and families regarding residency. Ensure resident needs are met and the service plan reflects those needs. Ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive and legible. Perform initial and annual performance reviews of employees. Ensure appropriate staffing of the unit at all times, this includes hiring, reference reviews and payroll notifications. Completes staffing schedules as required and assists in on call schedule.
