Resident Care Director

We are looking to add a Resident Care Director to our team. If you have relevant experience and at least three years of previous Senior Living (Assisted Living, Hospice, Nursing Home, Independent Living) experience and 2 years of Memory Care experience, we would love to chat with you!

SUMMARY of Duties

The Resident Care Director is responsible for coordinating resident care in order to ensure the residents remain as independent as possible for as long as possible. Assist the resident and his or her family in maintaining the physical and emotional health of the residents. Liaison with hospital personnel, physicians, community organizations and other health related service agencies to provide care to the residents. This position may also have responsibility for the Generations Unit at a community. Hire, evaluate, coordinate, motivate, monitor performance, schedule and supervise department staff in accordance with company policy. Make recommendations to the Executive Director with respect to staff evaluations, merit pay increases, reprimands, disciplinary actions and terminations.

• LPN with Senior Living experience
• Prefer two (2) years’ experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience with specialized dementia care programs
• 2 years of care staff management

Educational Qualifications
