Job summary

Charter Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to support daily resident care operations in an Assisted Living community. You will lead frontline caregiving teams, coach staff, and help ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.

The RCC works with the Health & Wellness Director to promote resident wellbeing and uphold Charter’s mission and resident-centered philosophy. Ideal candidates have prior senior living leadership experience and a strong commitment to

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living leadership preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and develop frontline care teams.
• Knowledge of state regulations and resident care practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of resident care services within the community.
• Assist with scheduling, supervision, and support of caregiving staff.
• Monitor quality of care and resident wellbeing.
• Support onboarding, coaching, and performance development of care associates.
• Partner with Health & Wellness Director to maintain policy and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate resident needs and condition changes appropriately.
• Assist with care coordination and implementation of care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Help foster a positive, team-oriented, resident-focused culture.

Position Summary

The Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of resident care services while helping ensure quality care, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance within the Assisted Living community.

This role partners closely with the Health & Wellness Director (HWD) to oversee frontline caregiving teams through scheduling, coaching, training, support, and operational coordination.

The RCC plays a key role in promoting Charter Senior Living’s mission, core values, and resident-centered care philosophy while helping create a positive environment for residents, families, and associates.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, dependable, and passionate about leading caregiving teams while enhancing resident quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of resident care services within the community
• Assist with scheduling, supervision, and support of caregiving staff

Qualifications

• Previous assisted living, memory care, caregiving leadership, or senior living experience preferred
• CNA, Medication Technician, LPN, or related healthcare experience preferred depending on state requirements
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and team-building abilities
• Knowledge of senior living regulations and resident care practices preferred
