Job summary

Charter Senior Living of WoodHolme Crossing is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to lead daily resident care operations in a senior living community. You will supervise caregiving teams, manage scheduling, and ensure resident wellbeing with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has prior assisted living or memory care leadership experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a dedication to resident-centered care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior assisted living, memory care, or senior living leadership experience is preferred.
• CNA or related certifications help; state requirements may apply.
• Strong leadership, supervision, and team-building abilities are important.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of resident care services in the community.
• Assist with scheduling, supervision, and support of caregiving staff.
• Monitor quality of care and resident wellbeing.
• Support onboarding, coaching, and performance development of care associates.
• Partner with Health & Wellness Director to maintain compliance with policies and state regulations.
• Communicate resident needs and changes in condition appropriately.
• Assist with care coordination and implementation of resident care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Position Summary

The Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of resident care services while helping ensure quality care, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance within the Assisted Living community.

This role partners closely with the Health & Wellness Director (HWD) to oversee frontline caregiving teams through scheduling, coaching, training, support, and operational coordination.

The RCC plays a key role in promoting Charter Senior Living’s mission, core values, and resident-centered care philosophy while helping create a positive environment for residents, families, and associates.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, dependable, and passionate about leading caregiving teams while enhancing resident quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of resident care services within the community

• Assist with scheduling, supervision, and support of caregiving staff

• Monitor quality of care and resident wellbeing

• Support onboarding, coaching, and performance development of care associates

• Partner with the Health & Wellness Director to maintain compliance with community policies and state regulations

• Communicate resident needs and condition changes appropriately

• Assist with care coordination and implementation of resident care plans

• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Previous assisted living, memory care, caregiving leadership, or senior living experience preferred

• CNA, Medication Technician, LPN, or related healthcare experience preferred depending on state requirements

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

• Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong problem-solving and team-building abilities

• Knowledge of senior living regulations and resident care practices preferred
