Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following safety and sanitation guidelines and supporting inventory management.

The role emphasizes resident and team engagement, adherence to dietary restrictions, and reliable, positive interactions with staff and guests in a caregiving environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Able to follow recipes and accommodate dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
