Job summary

MRC PineCrest in Lufkin, TX is seeking Evening Resident Care Assistants (2pm-10pm) to support residents under licensed staff. You will assist with daily care, monitor well-being, and help residents participate in activities.

This role offers a comprehensive benefits package including a $2 evening shift differential, BCBS health plans, wellness programs, HSA/FSA, and a 401(k) with company match. High school diploma or CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA license or two years of resident care experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic patient care procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent desired.

Responsibilities

• Administer the care of residents under supervision of licensed staff and assist professional nursing staff by performing routine tasks in the care of residents
• Assist residents in adapting to changes that may occur due to illness and normal aging processes
• Use one-on-one and group relationships to facilitate participation in activities, support interests, develop and sustain capacities and adaptive skills of residents
• Lead and coordinate various types of activities and programs for residents
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
