Avera Majestic Bluffs Assisted Living in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living, meals, and medication administration within their care plans.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, follow care plans, record vital signs, and help with activities and housekeeping. HS or GED; CNA or Med Aide certification within 120 days; sign-on bonus potential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required to become Med Aide, with certification timelines.
• CNA license in state within 120 days or Medication Aide license within 120 days.
• Less than 1 year experience in a people-related field; food service experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with all aspects of daily living including meals, medications, bathing, housekeeping and laundry.
• Gathers information, including lunch counts, maintenance requests, substitutions, and attendance notes.
• Administers resident medications according to policy and procedure if Med Aide trained.
• Report changes in residents' condition or behavior to Nurse for continuity of care.
• Record vital signs and other clinical data with accuracy and detail.
• Answer call lights, anticipate needs, and prepare rooms for admission, transfer, or discharge.
• Maintain clean, tidy environments and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist residents with activities and accompany them to events.

Formation

High School or GED Equivalent if a Medication Aide

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board in the state of practice within 120 Days or

Medication Aide - Licensing Board in the state of practice within 120 Days

Less than 1 year Experience in a people related business. Food service experience helpful.
