Job summary

The Legacy of Venice is seeking compassionate Resident Care Assistants to join our dedicated team in providing physical and psychosocial care to residents. You will report to the Wellness Director and shift supervisor, and play a key role in promoting dignity, choice, and individuality for each resident.

duties include assisting with daily living activities, collaborating with staff, and maintaining safety through adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Be in good physical health and able to lift 40 pounds.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services to residents and assist team members.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Maintain professional demeanor with residents and families.
• Report suspected abuse to licensed staff immediately.
• Follow safety and infection control rules.
• Document services on company forms.
• Escort residents and coordinate internal transportation.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report to supervisor.
• Conduct room checks and monitor environmental safety hazards.
