Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Venice, FL is looking for a part-time Resident Assistant/Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals, and social interaction.

You will monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort, document tasks (shift reports and resident records), and communicate needs to the Health Care Director. The organization is a Great Place To Work and offers growth and recognition opportunities.

Qualifications

• Compassion and empathy are required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily resident care: personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundry, meals.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document tasks such as daily shift reports, resident records and negotiated service agreements.
• Confidentially communicate urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director.
