Job Summary

Completes tasks on the nursing units that maintain the resident's environment and contribute to efficiency in caring for residents. Works to provide a safe, home-like environment for residents that helps maximize independent functioning. Provides supporting care and services such as linen and laundry activities, housekeeping, meal support, and assistance with recreational activities. Also transports residents, performs administrative tasks, and supports residents with limited mobility.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals, cleans dining areas, and assists with feeding residents.
• Performs housekeeping duties and maintains cleanliness in resident areas.
• Addresses residents' questions and concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintains hygiene of utensils and equipment, and cleans resident rooms and mobility aids.
• Assists with laundry and stocking supplies.
• Supports residents with bathing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
• Transports residents for meals and appointments.
• Follows facility policies on resident care and safety protocols.
• Works alertly and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certifications in Medication Administration, Standard Precautions, First Aid & Choking, and Fire Safety required or obtained within 90 days.
• No prior experience required.

Physical and Professional Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk constantly, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and perform repetitive movements.
• Use of senses including vision, hearing, and smell.
• Valid professional licenses and certifications as specified.

Additional Details

Work shift: Evening shift, 36 hours weekly. Located in Wisconsin. Benefits include paid parental leave, flexible pay options, and tuition coverage.
