NHC Place Sumner is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants to join our team at our Gallatin, TN facility. This full-time role involves providing personal care, supporting residents with daily activities, and assisting nursing staff to maintain a comfortable, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in long term care, skilled nursing or memory care preferred.
• Ability to provide direct personal care to residents.
• Strong observation and reporting of changes in resident condition.
• Customer-service orientation with hospitality focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) daily and as needed.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
• Notify Charge Nurse of changes in condition and concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and assist with housekeeping.
• Attend in-service education programs to meet facility requirements.
