Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in long term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required.
• Provide daily personal care to residents.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output.
• Adhere to attendance standards and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) of residents daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Promptly answer call lights and other resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Attend in-service education programs to meet facility requirements.
