Job summary

The Resident Care Assistant (RCA) at Park Vista Health Center delivers personal and non-personal care to residents, supporting daily living activities with dignity and autonomy. You will assist with meals, mobility, laundry and light housekeeping while promoting safety and comfort.

You’ll engage residents in activities and help maintain a clean, welcoming living space. Ideal candidates have at least one year of caregiving experience, can work in a healthcare/CCRC setting, and hold a current

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience.
• Ability to work in a health care center/CCRC environment.
• Knowledge and practice of safe lifting and back care techniques.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain a current First Aid card.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers card.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, and toileting.
• Provide mobility support and escorts as needed.
• Assist with meal service in the dining room: taking orders, serving meals, clearing tables.
• Organize and coordinate activities to meet daily personal needs.
• Maintain resident units: laundry, linens, bed making, light housekeeping, dishes, trash.
• Accompany residents on walks or excursions and participate in activities they enjoy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
