Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed State Approved Nurse Aide Training and be listed on the State Registry in good standing.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff, and read/write.
• Prior experience as Nurse Aide preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under supervision and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming and hygiene; help with adaptive equipment.
• Explain procedures to residents before performing them.
• Maintain resident comfort by changing wet clothing and linens as needed.
• Make beds for occupied and unoccupied residents.
• Participate in shift handoffs and report care concerns.
