Scope of work

1. Provide direct resident care, perform specified nursing procedures, and maintain a clean, safe environment under supervision of a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse.
2. Conduct walking rounds at the beginning of each shift with the outgoing CNA/RCC to ensure resident safety and address immediate care issues.
3. Perform walking rounds at least every two hours or more frequently if needed.
4. Assist residents with activities of daily living, maintaining privacy.
5. Assist with dental and oral care, baths, dressing, and hair and nail care.
6. Obtain vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respirations, and weights as directed by the nurse.
7. Document and report any changes in residents' mental or physical status promptly.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Prometric, required
• Completed training at an accredited nurse assistant training facility, required
