Job summary

Birchaven Village seeks a Nurse Aide to support licensed staff by delivering direct resident care under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. You will assist with personal needs and comfort, following Birchaven Village policies and resident rights.

The role requires NATCEP completion and active STNA registry within 4 months of hire, and candidates must be at least 16 years old with strong communication and service orientation. Adherence to the handbook and resident rights is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Certificate of NATCEP completion.
• Active STNA registry in Ohio within 4 months of hire.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care under supervision and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge to provide care appropriate to residents' needs and report changes.
• Provide direct resident care and room prep as directed by nursing staff.
• Communicate needs to inventory personnel to restock supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
