Job summary

Hacienda Oaks at Beeville in Beeville, TX, is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support the Nursing Department. You will assist with daily resident care, answer calls, transport residents, help with meals and housekeeping tasks, and ensure rooms are clean, safe, and properly labeled.

You will report incidents, monitor residents’ conditions, follow policies on exposure to blood/body fluids, and coordinate with nurses to maintain a calm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 8th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general documents.
• Ability to write reports and communicate clearly.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.
• Basic math and reasoning skills for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursing Department and staff in daily operations.
• Answer phone and assist with resident transport and errands.
• Assist with secretarial tasks and housekeeping duties in resident areas.
• Notify Nurse Supervisor of changes in resident condition promptly.
• Help with meals, trays, and passing snacks per instructions.
• Check call bells, monitor resident safety, and ensure rooms are tidy.
