Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC seeks a dedicated Resident Services Assistant for their Texas location. This role supports residents with daily living activities, meals, housekeeping, and social-recreational activities, while coordinating with staff and management to ensure resident well-being.

Responsibilities include observation, reporting, adherence to infection control, and participation in orientation and training for new staff.

Qualifications

• Willingness to adhere to assisted living principles in providing services.
• Ability to spend long periods on feet and to ambulate quickly.
• Adequate and clear English speaking and writing ability; able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to philosophy of dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment for Resident.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Assists with orientation of new staff to job responsibilities.
• Assists with ADLs, environmental orientation, and independence.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleanup.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans (bathing, toileting, transfer, mobility).
• Maintains infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Notifies nurse or designated agent of Resident status/changes as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Twelve (12) plus years of education preferred
