Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Assistant (RCA) to join our team in a faith-based setting. This role focuses on non-clinical resident support, such as assisting with daily living activities and ensuring resident comfort, safety, and dignity.

The RCA will perform tasks like serving meals, assisting with laundry, responding to call lights, and helping residents get to dialysis or activities within the building, while adhering to care home practices and memory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in long-term care and home & community care settings preferred.
• Experience in personal care home practices and caregiving techniques preferred.
• Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and memory care.

Responsibilities

• Non-clinical resident assistance including passing ice and water.
• Passing out food trays.
• Handling laundry.
• Answering call lights.
• Taking residents to dialysis treatments and other activities within the building.
• Any other non-clinical duties deemed necessary.
