Job summary

Complete Care in Wisconsin is hiring a Resident Assistant (RCA) to create a safe, comfortable and joyful environment for residents. You will support daily living activities, document care, and partner with the care team to deliver person-centered services.

The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and reliable communication, with flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement within our growing organization.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Active CBRF Certification (required).
  • CNA a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Basic computer skills for charting and communication.
  • Previous caregiving or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with ADLs: bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, transfer, toileting.
  • Keep resident spaces clean and organized; change linens.
  • Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Follow CBRF regulations and facility policies.
  • Observe changes in residents' condition and report.
  • Assist mobility, transfers, and exercises per care plans.
  • Engage residents in activities to promote independence and well-being.
  • Respond quickly to calls and resident requests.
  • Collaborate with nurses and therapy staff to provide holistic care.
  • Perform additional duties to support daily operations.

Now Hiring: Resident Assistant (Full-Time/Part-Time)

As a Resident Assistant, you'll be a vital part of creating a safe, comfortable, and joyful environment for our residents. Your empathy, attentiveness, and commitment will directly enhance their daily lives.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, meals, feeding assistance, ambulating, transferring, turning, positioning, and toileting

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living spaces—including tidying rooms, changing linens, and assisting with personal items

  • Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly to ensure clear and consistent communication

  • Follow all CBRF regulations, as well as state, federal, and facility policies and procedures

  • Observe and report any notable changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral condition

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises per individualized care plans

  • Engage residents in interactive activities that encourage independence, connection, and well-being

  • Respond quickly and kindly to resident requests and call lights

  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the care team to deliver holistic, person-centered care

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support smooth daily operations

What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Active CBRF Certification (required)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
