Job summary

Woodhaven Village is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Assistant to provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, promoting dignity and individuality. You will report to the shift supervisor and Wellness Director while delivering essential daily living support and maintaining a professional, caring presence.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.

Responsibilities

• Provides all necessary care and services to assigned residents and assists other wellness department associates as needed.
• Works collaboratively with peers and other team members.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Maintains professional demeanor with residents and families.
• Reports any abuse to licensed staff immediately.
• Documents provision of services on company forms.
• Escorts residents and coordinates internal transportation needs.
• Observes and reports changes in residents' condition to supervisor.
