Job summary

Nyc-Housing-Authority is seeking an Assistant Resident Building Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations at the development and supervise repairs of structures and equipment, including roof tanks, standpipe and sprinkler systems.

You will monitor work orders in Maximo, coordinate staff, and supervise move-out preparations while ensuring PHAS readiness and adherence to City policies.

Qualifications

• One year of permanent service in related housing supervisory roles.
• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent plus four years’ maintenance supervision experience.
• Experience supervising at least two maintenance employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations at development.
• Supervise repair of structures and equipment; maintain roof tanks and standpipe systems.
• Monitor inventory supply and arrange replenishment.
• Conduct building inspections and PHAS preparation follow-ups.
• Monitor work orders in Maximo and deploy staff to repairs.
• Oversee repair work by Maintenance Workers in residents' apartments and public spaces.
• Supervise the preparation of move-outs.
