Job summary

Interfaith Community Services in Escondido seeks a Resident Behavioral Health Aide to provide basic behavioral and mental health support to clients in recovery settings under clinical supervision. You will help clients stabilize, follow treatment plans, and move toward greater independence and wellness.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; minimum 1 year experience with severely mentally ill or homeless populations; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic physical and mental health services per interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Observe and report clients' conditions and responses to treatment.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges and support transportation needs.
