Job summary

Opal Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Resident Associate to provide direct support to residents with daily living needs, promoting dignity, safety and quality of life in our welcoming communities.

You will assist with activities of daily living, observe changes, support meals and hydration, and follow infection control and documentation standards, while communicating clearly with residents, families and teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assisted living, caregiving, or senior services preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and team members.
• Commitment to resident safety, respect, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide respectful, service-focused support that encourages independence whenever possible.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or cognitive condition.
• Support meal service, hydration, and engagement in daily routines.
• Follow proper infection control, safety, and documentation standards.
