Job summary

Modern Family Law is seeking 3Ls and recent graduates preparing for the February or July 2027 Bar to join its Residency Program in Georgia offices (Atlanta or Savannah). The hybrid role emphasizes remote-first work with in-person court requirements and low billable hours for an Associate Attorney transitioning to an MFL Associate after admission.

Qualifications

• Must have JD and be eligible to take the February or July 2027 Bar exam.
• MPRE must be passed before sitting for the Bar.
• Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.
• Mock Trial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct client contact and case management in family law matters.
• Develop litigation skills early as a first-chair attorney.
• Collaborate with legal teams using advanced technology to manage caseloads.
• Participate in ongoing learning and development programs.

• Starting salary for an Associate Attorney is $90,000 (base), with earnings up to $110,700per year.

Compensation and Benefits:Salary Range: $66,560-$110,700.This range is areasonably reliableestimate of the salary that this individual is expected toreceive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factorspermittedby law.
