Job summary

Lawrence Healthcare is seeking a Resident Assistant to support residents with meals, recreation, and social activities. You will help keep rooms clean and assist with daily tasks, while handling simple administrative duties like answering phones and guiding residents to appointments.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. CNA classes are provided by the facility and should be completed within 3 months of hire. Competitive benefits are offered along with PTO from day 1.

Job Objective/Summary

The Resident Assistants are responsible for assisting residents with their nutritional, recreational and social activities. RAs are responsible for general cleanliness of resident's rooms, and equipment. In addition, The RA may perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, greeting visitors, taking resident's to in-house appointments and documenting resident care.

Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare geriatric setting is a plus. Must attend and successfully complete C.N.A classes within 3 months of hire. C.N.A classes are provided by the facility.
