Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents in a community living setting. This role requires compassionate care, strong teamwork, and reliable communication to ensure safety and dignity for all residents.

You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, and wellness activities while maintaining a clean environment and reporting changes to nursing staff. Minnesota/Wisconsin CNA credentials are preferred and background clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification preferred and may be required for some levels.
• Ability to pass a state-required background study.
• Previous caregiver or personal care assistant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
• Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health or well‑being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and assist with transitioning to new home.

Schedule: Part Time | 28 hours/pay period | 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. | Includes every other weekend and holiday

Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.65/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Resident Assistant At Vivie, You Will

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well‑being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
