Job summary

Koelsch Communities is seeking a dedicated Caregiver for the Northbrook Inn Resident Services Department in Northbrook, IL. This full-time role offers an AM shift from 6AM to 2PM and an hourly wage between $21 and $22 depending on experience.

We provide CNA schooling/certification, comprehensive health plans, HSA contributions, vacation and holidays, referral programs, and growth opportunities within the organization. A paid meal during your shift is also included.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.
• Must have ability to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe residents for changes and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
