Job summary

Koelsch Communities is seeking a Caregiver for the Resident Services Department at Cedarbrook memory care on a part-time basis. Earn between $19 and $20.50 per hour, with 2PM–10PM and 10PM–6AM shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
• Must be able to gain CPR/First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provide or obtain assistance with care as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Notify licensed nurse of changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences.

What you'll do:
