Job summary

WesleyLife is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to support residents in a care-focused environment. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and monitor health while ensuring accurate documentation.

This role offers part-time, 2nd shift hours and a supportive, values-driven workplace. Location: Washington, IA area with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for education reimbursement and other perks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of Assisted Living or LTC experience.
• Experience with medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (grooming, dressing, meals) to promote independence.
• Monitor residents' health and promptly report changes to healthcare professionals and family.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and care activities in accordance with regulatory standards.

As a Resident Assistant, You Will

• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, promoting their independence and well-being.
• Monitor residents' health and well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.

Open Shifts Available

• Part-time 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm)

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (This is a requirement to pass medication)
• 1 year of previous Assisted Living or LTC experience

Compensation & Flexibility

• The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.
• Shift Differentials: 2nd Shift-$3.00/hr, 3rd Shift-$4.00/hr and Weekends-$1.00/hr
