WesleyLife is hiring a Resident Assistant/Medication Manager for the 2nd shift on-site at Halcyon House, Washington, IA. The role includes administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health, and documenting care activities.

Starting pay is based on experience, with shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package. We seek compassionate individuals with at least 1 year of Assisted Living or LTC experience who are at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to pass medication safety tests.
• 1 year of Assisted Living or long-term care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to schedules with accuracy.
• Assist residents with daily living activities to promote independence.

As a Resident Assistant, you will:

• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, promoting their independence and well-being.
• Monitor residents' health and well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
• Full-time 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm)

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (This is a requirement to pass medication)
• 1 year of previous Assisted Living or LTC experience

Compensation & Flexibility:

• The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.
• Shift Differentials: 2nd Shift-$3.00/hr, 3rd Shift-$4.00/hr and Weekends-$1.00/hr
