WesleyLife is seeking a Resident Assistant/Medication Manager for the 2nd shift in Washington, IA. This on-site, part-time role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities, administering medications, and monitoring health under regulatory standards.

The position offers shift differentials, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for education reimbursement and wellness programs. Prior Assisted Living or LTC experience is preferred, and applicants must be at least 18

As a Resident Assistant, you will:

• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols.


• Assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, promoting their independence and well-being.


• Monitor residents' health and well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members.


• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.


• Part-time 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm)

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (This is a requirement to pass medication)


• 1 year of previous Assisted Living or LTC experience

Compensation & Flexibility:

• The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.


• Shift Differentials: 2nd Shift-$3.00/hr, 3rd Shift-$4.00/hr and Weekends-$1.00/hr
