Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Resident Assistant in Minnesota to provide compassionate support in a care community. You will assist residents with daily activities, meals, and health needs while promoting dignity, safety, and social engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar experience preferred but not required.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.
• Ability to pass a state-required background study.
• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills respecting their preferences.
• Encourage engagement in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance quality of life.
• Maintain clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report changes in health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

Schedule:

Full Time | 64 hours/pay period | 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. | Includes every other weekend and holiday

Pay Range:

$18.50 - $23.65/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Resident Assistant At Vivie, You Will
