Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate care in a warm, supportive environment at our St. Anthony community.

The role includes personal care, companionship, and helping residents maintain dignity and independence in both assisted living and memory care settings. We offer flexible scheduling (FT, PT, and on-call), competitive pay between $18.00 and $22.00 per hour, shift differentials, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, companionship, and assistance with daily living for residents.
• Assist residents in dining and participate in activities and outings.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and case managers, and report changes in condition.

• PT 0.2 6am-2pm (every other weekend)
• FT Overnight 0.8 10pm-6am
• On-call (2 shifts minimum a month requirement)

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands -on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement. R esponsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assist s in the dining room and participating in activities and outings .

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilitie s :

• Assistresidents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) asindicatedon the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach andmaintainthe highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assistwith treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Resident Assistantobservesclientsand reportschanges in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc.tothe casemanager.
• Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.
