Qualifications

• Must demonstrate ability to read, write, understand and communicate job-related information and directions in English.
• Familiarity with basic computer skills. Ability to learn new software applications as required by the position.
• Must be able to complete required training including first-aid training.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality personal care to residents and ensure high quality of care following guidelines and procedures.
• Complete administrative requirements and maintain proper documentation, charting, and required forms.
• Assist residents with daily dining tasks and participate in resident activities program.
• Follow care plans to meet individual resident needs and support personal choices.
• Report allegations of abuse/neglect to appropriate leadership.
• Report hazardous incidents to the Manager/Supervisor.
• Accept direction from charge nurse regarding direct resident care.
