Jaybird Senior Living seeks a Resident Assistant to provide personal care and related services per individualized care plans. You will work under the Healthcare Coordinator and assist with daily living activities, medication reminders, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least six months caregiving experience, preferably with elderly.
• Completion of required medication management course.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Professionalism and ability to handle emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs and report deviations.
• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and transfers.
• Follow ISP and daily task sheets; communicate status changes.
• Utilize standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Maintain safe and clean resident environments; document progress.
• Encourage resident engagement in activities.
• Attend biweekly in-service meetings and trainings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
