Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide personal care and related services per individualized care plans. The role reports to the Healthcare Coordinator and requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months caregiving experience, and CPR within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities include vital signs, activities, infection control, and documenting progress; training and in-service meetings are part of the role. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six months caregiving experience with elderly residents.
• Completion of required medication management course.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs and report deviations per ISP.
• Assist residents with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, nutrition, mobility.
• Follow ISPs, report changes to supervisors, and document progress.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Encourage resident engagement in activities and attend trainings.
