Morning Pointe Assisted Living communities are dedicated to providing compassionate care in a secure, welcoming environment. As a Resident Assistant/CNA, you will support daily living activities and provide caring assistance to residents with dignity and respect.

This role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and strong communication as you help with daily living tasks, meals, mobility and personal care while fostering independence. Shifts include 1st and 3rd, with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reading, writing and basic math and verbal communication skills required
• Minimum age 18 with a responsible work ethic

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, laundry, bed making and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks; assist with setup, service and feeding as necessary
• Perform housekeeping duties as necessary

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
