Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living seeks a Resident Assistant/CNA for Assisted Living to support daily resident activities in a caring, secure environment that honors dignity and independence.

As part of a team, you will assist with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, meals, laundry, and light housekeeping, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Compassionate caregiver with a can-do attitude.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making and other duties of care.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks; help with setup, service and feeding as necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as necessary.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
