Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents in a community setting. The role includes assisting with daily activities, meals, and maintaining a safe living space, while fostering dignity and companionship.

Qualifications

• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification preferred; may be required at some levels.
• Ability to pass a state background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well‑being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
