Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on resident support in a warm, respectful environment. You will help with daily activities, meals, and activities that promote dignity and joy, while building meaningful connections with residents and staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, housekeeping, and monitoring health. CNA certification preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting and mobility.
• Support meals, restorative care, and life skills respecting resident preferences.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational and wellness activities.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces to maintain a clean environment.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
