Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents, helping with daily activities and ensuring a safe, dignified living environment. You will assist with bathing, meals, mobility, and wellness, while documenting changes and coordinating with nursing staff; the role emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork.

This part-time role features weekend coverage and holiday rotations, with opportunities for training and professional development in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in MN or WI preferred; may be required for some roles.
• Ability to pass a state background check.
• Physical ability to perform duties and read/write/speak English.
• Previous caregiver experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.
