Otterbein SeniorLife seeks caring Resident Assistants to support residents with daily living activities across our communities. Entry-level role with growth potential, working in vibrant Neighborhoods and Home Health settings.

You will collaborate with a nurse-in-charge and team, delivering person-centered care while promoting resident independence and safety. Positions include full-time day and part-time options with daily Pay benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs with care and support.
• Provide supervision or cueing for transfers and ambulation.
• Communicate and coordinate resident needs with the team.

In this position, you will help our resident with Activities of Daily Living within our communities. Working together with other Partners to provide the best care for our residents.

Job Types: Full time day, Part time - 3 days a week, 8 hour shits

Pay: Starting at $13.25/hr, increases with experience, Shift differential for evening and weekends!

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.
