Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking compassionate Resident Assistants for entry-level roles with growth potential. You will assist residents with ADLs and provide compassionate, person-centered care across our communities, home health, hospice, and related services in Ohio and Indiana.

You will join a team of caring Partners who value respect for resident choices and teamwork with nursing leadership to deliver quality care and strong self-development opportunities within a supportive nonprofit

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification: No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident
• Provide supervision, cueing or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Communicate, coordinate and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.

Available Shift: 1st shift Full Time & PRN
