Responsibilities

• Help create a welcoming, fun, and exciting work experience for Cedar Point team members through a variety of Resident Life roles.
• Perform housing check-in, review IDs, status, holds, and issue keys.
• Use campus management software according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform housing check-out, collect keys, inspect rooms, and report issues to the Manager.
• Ensure transfers have reservations, updated paperwork, and keys issued.
• Engage with residents to promote a community environment and address concerns.
• Conduct rounds across floors and log notes, submitting work orders as needed.
• Interact with guests to deliver great experiences and create memories.

Overview:

$14.25/hour

Ages 18+

At Cedar Point, work is FUN! As a Resident Assistant, you’ll assist team members within our Housing Campus. You’ll also:

• Help create a welcoming, fun, and exciting work experience for Cedar Point team members through a variety of Resident Life roles.
• Perform the housing check-in process, which includes the review of Cedar Point ID badges/other identification documents, housing application status and any holds on the team member profile before assigning rooms and issuing keys.
• Uses campus management software according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform the housing check-out process which includes collecting room keys, inspecting rooms for excessive cleaning/damage, and communicating any necessary follow-up to the apporpriate Manager.
• Responsible for ensuring transfers have the appropriate reservation created, paperwork updated, and keys issued according to the Standard Operating Procedure.
• Engages with residents to promote a community environment. Answers questions and addresses resident concerns including, but not limited to, lockouts lost keys, and roommate concerns.

• Conducts rounds throughout assigned location, checking all floors, hallways, and stairwells for anything unusual or contrary to policy. Takes note of any concerns via the Activity Log and submits appropriate work orders.
